At the height of a brutal battle between the Minamoto Clan and the Taira Clan, the young and promising archer Hoshi, of the Minamoto Clan, saw his battalion decimated. Cornered and gravely wounded, Hoshi refused to retreat. In an act of fury and desperation to defend the honor of his family and his lord, he stood before the enemy captain and fired his last arrow. From atop the snowy mountains, Byakko, the Tiger God of the West and Lord of the Wind, watched the scene. The God sympathized not with Hoshi's skill, but with his honorable fury. Just as the enemy katana was about to fall on Hoshi's neck, a storm of wind and snow isolated the young warrior. Byakko roared and transferred a portion of his divine essence into the samurai. Hoshi's body was transformed and his armor was blessed. The enemy captain fled in terror, believing that the Tiger God himself had descended to fight.
"This is the work I've been working on over the last 3 weeks. I've selected some of the characters I've created and had the idea to bring them all together in the same universe. There are 12 characters in total. Today I finished the first 4: GRIMHILDE, TATSUKI, BYAKKO, and THALOR. I expect to finalize the other two groups in the coming weeks. My initial idea is to create a game where these beings from various universes must clash. VORTEX: World's End Duel"
